I met Brandon (2nd from right) and Qiyu (extreme right) last year, at the Chinese Development Assistance Council (CDAC) Charity Fundraising Dinner. They are beneficiaries of CDAC support.
I asked recently, and was glad to learn that both are doing well. Despite a late start (she started Primary 1 at age 11), Qiyu has excelled academically, and is now pursuing biomedical science in Temasek Polytechnic on a TP scholarship. Brandon is in the Tchoukball national team, and will be representing Singapore in the World Tchoukball Championships in August.
This Saturday, come join CDAC and their supporters to make 50,000 Heart Knots (爱心结) at Ngee Ann City. The knots will be given to beneficiaries as a symbol of encouragement and good wishes. More details here - https://alittlefromall.wordpress.com/.
